- To foster a sense of connectedness among professionals working in the field of eating disorders and obesity;
- To facilitate a dynamic exchange of new theoretical ideas, promising treatment techniques, and cutting edge research advances among eating disorder clinicians, investigators, scientists and scholars;
- To promote the professional enhancement of people working in the field of eating disorders and obesity by providing a network by which eating disorder professionals can develop their careers;
- To offer meetings and educational programs to our membership and the community in an effort to develop and extent knowledge of the fields of eating disorders and obesity.
